Recently, such a mysterious word “strobe” literally stirred up the entire Internet, all girls who are seriously interested in fashion beauty trends speak about it. The most desirable thing for many ladies is a smooth, healthy and beautiful facial tone, which gives the appearance of youth and beauty.

Just with the help of this mysterious strobe and you can achieve such an important effect, while you do not have to spend too much time on makeup - if you have a minimum of experience enough 10 minutes is enough.

So what is strobe? This is a completely new concept in make-up, which came to replace contouring, which was popular just yesterday. Creating a contour make-up enjoyed the stormy love of many women over the past few years, it was considered almost a must-have for every fashionable woman.

Still, after all, with proper possession of the technique, it is possible to achieve simply stunning results: select non-existent cheekbones, noticeably narrow the nose, or lift the eyelids, in general, literally “draw” a face again.

However, contouring still has some extremely weighty drawbacks: for such a technique to really create a beautiful result, it must be mastered perfectly, which is not so simple. In addition, it requires a lot of time and a lot of cosmetics, which is not always suitable for everyone.

Recently, an increasing number of make-up artists are in favor of a new technique - strobing, which allows to achieve excellent results using only one tool, a highlighter.

In essence, this is the main difference between these two techniques - contouring is based mainly on drawing artificial shadows with the help of bronzers, while strobing, on the contrary, is aimed at creating lightened areas of the face, which, when properly designed, cause the skin to "glow" and even shine.

It is very important not to overdo it and remember that the podium strobe, which we see on the photo of models from glossy magazines, will be significantly different from the one that is suitable for life: it is much softer and more natural, but still amazingly beautiful.

A few rules for high quality strobe

What is needed for strobe? As we have said, this new makeup technique involves using a highlighter, which must be selected depending on the type of your own skin. For example, if you have enough oily skin, then it is better to use a matting base, and choose dry texture highlighters as your main tool.

For dry and normal skin suitable cream options, in this case, they are much easier to shade and look natural. In general, owners of oily skin with such a technique need to be careful: excessive “shine” can turn into an untidy oil shine.

How to make such an effect on your face? Everything is even easier than you think. Pre face should be cleaned and applied foundation - foundation, matting agents or something else according to your taste. The golden rule of strobing is an ideal smooth skin of the face, so all the flaws (redness, inflammation) must be carefully masked.

Then the highlighter is applied directly - it is distributed over the skin areas that are most strongly protruding above the surface and, as a result, reflect light. Usually this includes the nose, the upper part of the cheekbones, the center of the chin, the central area of the forehead, and also the point above the upper lip.

To give the face a special freshness, the tool can be applied to the inner corners of the eyes and under the eyebrows to visually “open” the look. The following rule is about quantity: “better is less.” The gloss should be subtle, so there shouldn't be too much highlighter.

And the last thing: to make the makeup natural and natural, achieve the absence of any clear lines with high-quality feathering. That's all the secrets!

To achieve a more interesting effect, highlighters can be combined, for example, powdery varieties are applied to the cheekbone area, which are often pigmented and give the skin a light radiant hue.
