Steamed meatballs in spicy cherry sauce


For the preparation we need:

  • 0.5 kg of minced beef,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 100 grams of bread
  • 100 ml of milk,
  • 1 tbsp. flour,
  • one clove of garlic,
  • one bunch of dill.

For the sauce, we need the following ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp. canned cherries
  • 2 large onions,
  • sunflower oil.

Peel the garlic, then finely cut it. Just grind dill. Baton soaked in milk, then how to squeeze. In the stuffing add eggs, flour, loaf, garlic, dill, do not forget to salt to taste, mix. We form meatballs and boil in a double boiler until cooked.

To make the sauce, we chop two onion rings and fry them in butter. Add berries to the onion and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.

Ready meatballs shift to refractory dishes, add fried onions with cherries. Sent in the oven for twenty minutes.

Recipe "Meatballs in spicy sauce":

In the minced meat add salt, spices and egg. Stir, beat off the stuffing and form round meatballs of the same size. Roll in flour, put in a greased form and put in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes. - meatballs should be tight.

While the meatballs are in the oven, rub on a coarse grater peeled Bulgarian pepper and pickled cucumbers TM "6 acres".

Add to them mayonnaise, ketchup, adjika, mix and pour sauce with meatballs.

  1. Rice, in order to cook steamed meatballs, it will be necessary to boil it in advance - the fact is that it will not have time to cook for a couple, so you cannot do without prior cooking. Of course, there are recipes for which raw rice is used, which is soaked beforehand, but much also depends on the variety of rice. If you have basmati, which is cooked in 12 minutes, then you can try to take a chance, but you should not. The most common polished long grain rice should be boiled, and the same applies to round rice.
  2. As for meat, you can twist the beef to a meat grinder on your own, or you can take ready beef mince. In order for the meatballs to be more fragrant, you will need to add a bit of greenery to them. Spices can not spread, enough salt, pepper, and a little garlic.
  3. Add the carrot. I often have a carrot in a grated and frozen form, because there is not always time for full cooking. And so, if you have time, you can rub the carrots, put them in a bag, put them in the fridge, and cut off as much as you need. Of course, you can use fresh carrots, it is even better.
  4. Mix the minced meat, herbs, salt, rice and carrots. Add one chicken egg.
  5. After that, it will be necessary to roll meatballs out of minced meat. In size, they are like tangerines, maybe a little larger. I send these meatballs for an hour in the fridge - the stuffing and other ingredients will cool, and meatballs will keep their shape better.
  6. After an hour spent in the refrigerator, you can put the meatballs on the steamer from the multicooker. Multi-bowl will need to be filled with 2.5 liters of water. From above we put a grid for steam, and we expose to prepare for the mode "Steamer".

Steamed meatballs for baby


  • ground beef - 1 kg,

  • milk - 0.5 cups,
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.,

  1. Mince 1 carrot and 1 onion and mix vegetables with minced meat.
  2. Boil the rice beforehand, soak the bread in milk, then add all this to the stuffing, break the egg, salt and pepper.
  3. Mix everything well and form meatballs.
